[Responsibility]

While the raw clay and minerals that coalesce during the porcelain production process unavoidably come from slow-replenishing sources, we embrace low-impact practices wherever possible. And are always looking for new ways to refine our processes with the planet in mind.

[01] PERMANENCE

We haven’t cut any corners in the production process, and with a bit of care, our products should last a lifetime, if not two.

[02] PROXIMITY

Our supply chain is hyper-local, with everything from clay processing to packaging production occurring within a 10km radius of Hasami, helping to reduce our products' carbon footprint.

[03] RECYCLING

Separating different types of clay and glaze can be time-consuming. However, the craftspeople we work with actively recycle raw materials wherever possible.

[04] POWER

Our studio and warehouse are fitted with solar panels and predominately run off-grid.

[05] PACKAGING

We always keep packaging to a minimum, only using recycled cardboard boxes, water-activated tape and kraft paper to protect items during shipment.
