ANY GOOD BANQUET SHOULD LEAVE YOU IN POSSESSION OF A FEW EXTRA ROLLS.

LIKE THE TOP BUTTON OF YOUR PANTS POPPED IN CONSEQUENCE, THE ROLLED RIM RANGE IS AN ODE TO THE PERMISSIBLE SPILLING OVER OF FORM.

  • CONCEPT

Originally designed in 2020, the ‘Rolled Rim’ dinnerware range is inspired by a number of references, notebly the medieval myth of Cockaigne, a fictional land of plenty where cheese rains from the sky, rivers run with wine, and roads are paved with pastry. As well as the Ulm School model TC 100 modual dinnerware design by Nick Roericht.

The fleshy folds of this stacking series generously reinterpret the rigid rim seen on conventional dinnerware. Softened, smoothed, and far more forgiving, the sculptural rims, synonymous with the range, add strengthm visual interest and ergonomic appeal to the humble plate or bowl.
