Right now seems to be ripe and primed for alternate forms of conversation as we reevaluate what delusions we have been holding as core values, and how these might be interfering with a more explorative approach when relating to others and the world. Both we and our objects require a better look.

The ‘Conversation Cups’ set pays homage to seeking out the barely visible subtitles in seemingly identical designs.How we might acquire in the unfolding of new conversations a coherence and versatility in the silence gap, instead of rushing to fill it from our point of view. Used as a set when groups gather around the table, their intrigue might be a conversation starter, a metaphor, or a reminder—we each see the world from our own unique and ever-changing angle, so the important work is to keep looking, talking, and learning. They don't speak to any singular political, social or environmental issue but more broadly to the state of things.
